Parties 101 also offers a special science party/workshop service. Our experience with children gives us the skills needed to develop, present and implement fun and creative hands-on science experiments for all ages. Ideal for a birthday party, school group or just a special treat. We provide this service as a party at your home or as a workshop at your child's public school as 'It’s Experimental!!!''

Science Parties:

How the science home-parties work: The parents and children who are having the science party choose from a large selection of different science themes provided by Parties 101. Once a theme has been chosen, the co-ordinating experiments are reviewed by the family and a personalized plan is created. A trained Parties 101 consultant will arrive at the family's home equipped to provide a fun, informative and unique program designed just for their child. The Parties 101 consultant will have all of the equipment and ingredients needed for the experiments. All that we need is access to a tap and sink. We also ask that we are provided with a table/chairs in a rug-free room.

"It's Experimental!!!"

How the school workshops work : Children sign up for a series of 5 weekly 'It’s Experimental!!!' workshops which take place in a pre-assigned classroom in their school, arranged by Parties 101 and the school. Each week a new subject is explored with fun, hands-on science activities for each child. The instructor provides the necessary materials and answers questions to help facilitate the children with their experiments. For the last workshop, the children cooperatively decide on a topic that they would like to explore together.

Cost: $50 per child to cover materials and instructor. Limited spaces. Register early.
